State Street Announces Winners of 2023 UK Institutional Press Awards

LONDON, November 22, 2023

State Street Corporation (NYSE: STT), today announced the winners of its twenty-second State Street UK Institutional Press Awards, which recognize outstanding contributions in institutional financial services journalism.

The 2023 awards honor the contributions of journalists covering institutional investment themes including pensions, investor services, alternatives, data and technology, passive investments and diversity and inclusion over the past year.

Entries were judged by an independent panel of industry professionals led by veteran freelance journalists Padraig Floyd and Lynn Strongin Dodds. The two lead judges were supported by respected figures from the European financial services industry including:

  • Nicola Harley, Head of International Marketing, Morningstar
  • Kristina Ingate, Director for Governance and Company Secretary, London CIV
  • Dr Jonathan Lipkin, Director of Policy, Strategy and Innovation, The Investment Association
  • Karis Stander, Director, Culture, Talent & Inclusion, at the Investment Association and Managing Director, Investment20/20
  • Edwin Whitehead, Director of Responsible Investment, Redington
  • Journalists were honored at an event held in London and hosted by Cuan Coulter, global head of asset manager client segment, and country head of State Street in the United Kingdom and Ireland. “This year saw another fantastic year full of strong entries, and we congratulate all of this year’s shortlisted journalists and winners,” said Coulter. “With almost 200 entries this year, we are proud to recognize the outstanding and vital role journalism plays in the financial landscape as educators and providers of critical information, in what continues to be a rapidly evolving financial and geopolitical landscape.”
