State Street Executives Named to 2023 HERoes Advocate Executives Role Model Lists and to American Banker’s “Most Powerful Women” Lists
- Ron O’Hanley, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, who last year made his fifth consecutive appearance on the Advocate Executives Role Model List, will be named to the HERoes Hall of Fame
- Donna Milrod named to American Banker’s “Most Powerful Women in Finance” list, with Ann Fogarty and Lori Heinel both appearing on this year’s “Most Powerful Women in Banking and Finance: Watch List”

State Street Corporation (NYSE:STT) today announced that several of the firm’s executive leaders have been named to the HERoes Executives Role Model List, HERoes Advocate Executives Role Model and 2023 American Banker’s Most Powerful Women in Finance lists. The HERoes awards recognize advocates of female leadership and gender diversity in the financial industry and supported by Yahoo Finance.
The American Banker’s Most Powerful Women in Finance list celebrates the industry’s most influential female executives in financial services for their business acumen. Donna Milrod, chief product officer, State Street has been named to the “Most Powerful Women in Finance” list for the third consecutive year; with Ann Fogarty, head of global delivery, State Street and Lori Heinel, global chief investment officer, State Street Global Advisors, appearing on this year’s “Most Powerful Women in Banking and Finance: Watch List.”
In addition, five of State Street’s leaders were named to the HERoes Top 100 Women Executives and HERoes Advocate Executives Role Model lists for 2023, which recognize executives that act as champions for women in business. State Street executives recognized in 2023 include:
- Ron O’Hanley, chairman and chief executive officer, who last year made his fifth consecutive appearance on the Advocate Executives Role Model List, will be named to the HERoes Hall of Fame.
HERoes Women Executives Role Model List 2023
- Yvonne Garcia, chief of staff to State Street chairman and CEO, global head of internal communications, and head of global CEO experience program (appearing for the fourth consecutive year)
- Brenda Tsai, chief marketing officer (appearing among this year’s Top 20 role models)
HERoes Advocate Executives Role Model List 2023
- Lou Maiuri, president, chief operating officer and head of Investment Services (appearing for the fifth consecutive year, and appearing among this year’s Top 20 role advocates)
- Eric Aboaf, vice chairman and chief financial officer
